Pete Kuempel
Pete Kuempel is a Stand-up comic. Many have even found him to be quite humorous….. So that’s good. Recognized for his cool, dry delivery, Pete enjoys engaging audiences with his sarcastic personal observations and his sometimes brutally honest outlook on life. He captivates crowds with his sardonic voice and uniquely laid back, deliberate style. Brought up within an ethnically mixed family (his mother is Mexican and his father is Irish) on Chicago's South side, much of Pete's comedy is drawn from life and he attributes a great deal of his wry, street smart disposition to his experiences growing up in the city. Pete has always had a knack for finding the absurdity in life’s frustrations and giving them an amusing twist. In doing so, he has developed a sense of ironic detachment that people find genuinely appealing. Plus, he’s pretty damn funny, and people usually seem to appreciate that. His peculiar perspective and leisurely, yet sharp delivery style have entertained audiences throughout Chicago as well as the Midwest, and now Pete can be found on a regular basis working comedy clubs all over the east coast. Pete has appeared at Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia, PA, The Opie and Anthony Traveling Virus Tour side stage in Camden, NJ, Laff House in Philadelphia, PA, The Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ, the Comedy Cabaret in NE Philadelphia, Doylestown, PA, Cherry Hill, and Runnemede, NJ, Rascal's Comedy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ, The Laugh Lounge in New York, NY, The Broadway Comedy Club in New York, NY, The Village Lantern in New York, NY, The Comedy Village in New York, NY, The New York Comedy Club in New York, NY, Standup New York in New York, NY, Chuckles Comedy Club in Audubon, PA, Levy’s Comedy Club in Levittown, PA, Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago, IL, Riddles Comedy Club in Orland Park, IL, Barrel of Laughs in Oak Lawn, IL, Pops Highwood Laugh All Nite in Highwood, IL, The Comedy Club on State in Madison WI ,The University of Illinois and Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
